Welcome Bonus Terms: What REALLY Matters for Withdrawals?

Been seeing a lot of discussion about welcome bonuses lately. Yeah, those big 200% match offers look GREAT on the surface - total eye candy for new players. But honestly, I've been burned a few times focusing just on that headline number. What really matters, imo, is what happens when you actually try to cash out.

The wagering requirements are the BIGGEST thing, obviously. A 30x on bonus AND deposit is way different from 20x on just the bonus amount. That's a HUGE difference when clearing funds. Then there are those maximum cashout limits on bonus winnings - absolutely CRUSHES the potential if you hit a big win. What's the point of a massive bonus if you can only withdraw 5x the bonus amount?

Also, some payment methods aren't even eligible for certain bonuses, which is a pain. So, my question to you guys is, when you're comparing welcome offers, what are your absolute MUST-CHECK terms related to withdrawals? Beyond just the wagering, what red flags or green lights do you look for to make sure a bonus is actually worth the effort?

Totally agree, the headline bonus is just bait. What's crucial for affiliates, and players really, is the clarity on withdrawal conditions. It's not just the multiplier. What often gets missed:
  1. Game contribution percentages: Huge for understanding actual play-through speed. Some games barely count.
  2. Max cashout caps: A surprising number of otherwise generous offers have low caps on bonus winnings.
Affiliates pushing these offers need to ensure their landing pages explain these clearly. Otherwise, it just hurts conversion rates and player trust long-term.

Totally agree, those wagering requirements are the absolute worst. 30x on bonus + deposit is just brutal, makes it almost impossible to clear anything decent. And tbh, I've seen some sneaky T&Cs about game contribution percentages too, making certain slots barely count. Btw, just noticed a few sites seem to be tightening up max cashout limits on bonus funds even more this month, feels like it's getting harder to actually win anything substantial from these offers lately. Such a pain for affiliates trying to promote them.
