RTP is the theoretical percentage of wagered money a slot pays back over time. 96% RTP means for every $100 wagered, $96 returns on average.

Why it matters: Over millions of spins, higher RTP games return more money.

Why it doesn't matter as much: In any individual session, anything can happen. You could lose everything on a 98% RTP slot or win 1000x on a 94% one.

RTP is one factor but volatility, max win potential, and bonus features all matter too.
